The Santa Bárbara complex is home to four cenotes: Cascabel, Chaksikín, Xooch’ and Pool Cocom. The active swimming circuit can vary according to the park’s operation on the date of your visit.

Santa Bárbara currently operates its swimming route according to park conditions and internal logistics. We will confirm the available circuit whenever possible before your service; admission covers the circuit operated by the complex on that date.

Yes. Your round-trip transportation from Mérida is reserved only for your group in a private air-conditioned vehicle.

No. Your transportation is private, but Cenotes Santa Bárbara is a public visitor complex and other guests may be present during your visit.

The included park package covers admission to the active cenote circuit, mandatory life jacket use and the internal transportation assigned by the complex. Available facilities are operated directly by Santa Bárbara.

Yes. One regional Yucatecan main course per traveler is included and is served at the complex’s restaurant.

No. Drinks, desserts and any additional food are paid directly by the guest.

No. Towels are not included. Please bring one towel per person and a dry change of clothes.

Bring a swimsuit, one towel per person, a dry change of clothes, comfortable footwear with good grip, personal medication and cash or a card for drinks, desserts, souvenirs or other personal expenses.

Comfortable walking shoes or secure sandals with good grip are recommended because some surfaces may be wet, uneven or slippery. Loose flip-flops are not the best option for the full route.

Do not apply sunscreen, insect repellent, body oils or creams before entering the cenotes. The complex requires guests to shower before swimming to help protect the water.

Yes. The complex lists restrooms, showers and changing rooms among its facilities.

The official facility information reviewed for this landing does not list lockers as a guaranteed service. Bring only essential belongings and keep them under your own responsibility during the visit.

Pool Cocom has an elevator reserved exclusively for people with disabilities, pregnant visitors and older adults. It should not be presented as general access for every visitor or every cenote.

It can be suitable for children who are comfortable around water and remain under continuous adult supervision. Life jackets are mandatory, and the complex also lists a children’s splash area.

Active older adults may enjoy the visit, but stairs, wet surfaces and uneven areas should be considered. Pool Cocom’s elevator is reserved for older adults, pregnant visitors and people with disabilities; please tell us about mobility needs before booking.

Strong swimming ability is not required for every visitor, but each guest should remain within their comfort level and follow the lifeguards’ instructions. Life jackets are mandatory.

Yes. Life jackets are included and their use is mandatory inside the cenotes.

A private air-conditioned sedan is assigned for one to three travelers. A Suzuki Ertiga or similar private MPV is assigned for four to six travelers, subject to final passenger and luggage details.

The drive is normally about one hour and fifteen minutes each way, depending on your pickup location, traffic and road conditions.

The approximate return to your hotel or Airbnb is 3:00 PM. Timing can vary with traffic, the group’s pace and the park’s operation.

Light rain does not always prevent the experience. If severe weather, unsafe conditions or an operational closure affects the visit, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling or the appropriate option under the booking policy.

First, request availability by WhatsApp or through the form. Your booking is confirmed only after the 50% deposit is received and Mérida Private Tours sends written confirmation.

The 50% deposit can be paid through a secure Stripe card-payment link or PayPal. The remaining 50% is paid at the end of the service using the method confirmed in writing.

No. The form only requests availability and a personalized quote. It does not collect card details, charge a payment or confirm the reservation.

More than 72 hours before the service, the deposit is refundable minus non-refundable payment-processor fees. From 48 to 72 hours before, 50% of the deposit is refundable minus those fees. Less than 48 hours before, including no-shows, the deposit is non-refundable. If Mérida Private Tours cannot provide the confirmed service, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid. Force-majeure situations may be handled through rescheduling or an appropriate refund according to the circumstances.

Additional drinks, desserts, towels, extra food, souvenirs, personal expenses, optional gratuities and any service not specifically confirmed in writing are not included.

Pickup details and the pace of the private transportation can be coordinated in advance. Park access times, safety rules, the active cenote circuit and included facilities remain subject to Santa Bárbara’s operation.
