A personalized private route arranged for a special request
My husband and I wanted to visit Chichén Itzá later in the day so we could view a seasonal astronomical event. Most organised tours have already left Chichén Itzá when we wanted to arrive there so we hired Daniel to take us to a cenote first, lunch and then Chichén Itzá. He found us an official guide who was happy to take his time and answer all our many questions! We were able to pay the entry tickets and meals on credit card and only needed smaller amounts of cash for tips. Daniel chose Cenote Tsukán as our first stop which was a beautiful and well-organised attraction. We highly recommend also visiting the Mayan village experience there before or after your swim in the cenote. Lunch was at a nice buffet restaurant nearby then we had all the time we wanted at Chichén Itzá before heading back to Mérida.

Can I request a different arrival time at Chichén Itzá?
The standard itinerary arrives at approximately 08:15 AM and the private guided visit begins at 08:30 AM. A different arrival time or a special-event itinerary must be requested before booking and is only confirmed after route feasibility, guide availability, site hours, duration and any price adjustment have been reviewed in writing.
How do Stripe and PayPal payments work?
No payment is collected through this quote form. After availability, final price and service details are confirmed in writing, a 50% deposit is required to reserve the service through a secure Stripe payment link or PayPal invoice. The remaining 50% is paid at the end of the service.
What is your cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours before the service, the deposit is refundable minus non-refundable payment processor fees. From 48 to 72 hours before the service, 50% of the deposit is refundable minus non-refundable processor fees. Less than 48 hours before the service, and no-shows, the deposit is non-refundable. If Mérida Private Tours cannot provide the confirmed service, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid. In force-majeure situations, rescheduling or an appropriate refund will be offered according to the circumstances.
