Are your tours private?

Yes. Every tour is fully private — you travel only with your own group in your own vehicle, never shared with other guests.

Where do you pick up guests?

Door-to-door, anywhere in Mérida — hotels, Airbnb accommodations and private residences. Share your confirmed address when requesting the service.

Are entrance tickets included?

It depends on the experience. Each service page identifies the included activities and any entrance fees paid directly on site. The written quote confirms the final inclusions before payment.

Can we customize the itinerary?

Yes. The itinerary can be adjusted before confirmation according to your interests, timing and route. Major changes may require a revised written quote.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. Credit and debit card payments are processed securely through Stripe. PayPal is also available when arranged with the customer.

Is a deposit required to reserve?

Yes. After availability, itinerary and final price are confirmed in writing, a 50% deposit reserves the service. The remaining 50% is paid at the end of the service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 72 hours before the service and the deposit is refunded in full, less non-refundable payment-processor fees. Between 48 and 72 hours, 50% of the deposit is refunded less those fees. Less than 48 hours before the service, and no-shows, are non-refundable.

How do I book?

Can you arrange an English-speaking guide?

Yes. Our drivers provide English and Spanish assistance, and official English-speaking guides can be included or coordinated for selected archaeological experiences as described on the individual service page.

What happens in case of bad weather or force majeure?

Most services operate rain or shine when conditions are safe. In a force-majeure situation, we will coordinate rescheduling or an appropriate refund according to the circumstances.

What happens if Mérida Private Tours cannot provide the confirmed service?

We will contact you promptly and issue a full refund of everything you have paid.
